When I set out to write Easy. Homemade., my goal was to get it into as many hands as possible the first week, and we’re off to a great start!
Yesterday we sold 1200 copies of the ebook through the website plus another 800 through Amazon! Incredible, right?
Although I didn’t really think about Amazon rankings ahead of time, it’s been exciting to see where it ranks on Amazon:

Ten years ago when Sean and I got married, my recipe repertoire consisted of maybe three recipes. I wanted so badly to be the perfect little wife, slaving away over home-cooked meals, but cooking has never come easily for me and I didn’t even know how to do something simple like fry an egg (although I’m happy to report that I make perfect fried eggs now!).
Over the years, I’ve mastered a few more recipes and gotten a little braver in the kitchen, and slowly, my approach to food and nutrition has been changing as well as I started paying more attention to the ingredients in so many of the foods we were buying.
Eighteen months ago or so, I started discovering recipes for homemade pantry staples — things I’d never have considered making myself, even with my lofty dreams of “cooking from scratch.” I truly had no idea that you could make your own yogurt or mayonnaise, and I’ve been blown away by how easy it is to make so many of these things at home.
